Help with A/C cooling issues

We own a 2007 Acura tl that has recently been having issues with the ac getting cool. It basically just blow out warm air no matter the settings. I took the car for service and almost immediately they came back that it was a bad clutch/coil component. I agree to have that replaced and received a call the car was ready to be picked up

Later that day we got another call saying there was another issue that the ac was working again and blew cool air but it was not as cold as it should be. In order to fix that the entire ac compressor would need to be replaced.

My question is would replacing the entire ac compressor in the first place correct the issue. Meaning is the coil/clutch mechanism part of the compressor itself or an entirely separate component?

Thanks anyone for their reply

They were prol just looking to save you money by doing the clutch coil first. Then if it didn't solve the problem replace the whole compressor. You should prol not be charged for the second repair. let us know if it works

If the compressor is weak, then the pressure readings will show it. Ask them what the low and high side pressure readings are at engine idle and under load (at about 2K or 2500 RPM). You can easily diagnose a weak compressor.

It could also be the blend door letting in too much hot air.
