i finally took the time to figure out what the hell was making all this clicking noise comming from the headliner around the moonroof...its not the velcro that holds it up there, its right in that same area, but its the liner itself...around the rear of the moonroof area where the liner is glued to a metal part is where the clicking is comming from...what i did was popped the liner down in the rear edge of moonroof, and then took some unused pieced of velcro, the soft part and slid it inbetween the liner itself and the metal part its glued to...its only glued in spots and its inbteween the spots in certain areas that the clicking noise was comming from...i put velcro in 3 areas until i couldnt hear anymore clicking...the way to find the clicking is to just pull the liner down and place your thumb on one side of the liner and finger on the backside where the metal is and just squeeze and you will hear the clicking...i guess i could have made the dealer replace the liner, but i read somewhere someone had the dealer replace the headliner only to have the noise resurface a few months down the road...besides everytime i have my car at the dealer the scratch something up so i decided to take matters into my own hands....

 

that clicking drives me nuts, especially when its cold!

 

you can fix it...5 minutes and its over...
