Headlight problems

Ok this is a long story so I will try to make it as short as possible...I bought my car last year and just recently I noticed I needed new headlight bulbs as the old ones weren't bright enough and I was having trouble seeing at night. I bought a pair from HIDextra (i think that's there name) about 4 months ago but never got around to installing them. Well today I decided to try to tackle this and when I took off the front bumper I was horrified to see the rebar was cracked on one end and part of it was missing...I proceeded to take the headlight off and I noticed the torx screw had been replaced by a regular screw. So after looking at the back of the headlights they looked different from the ones that were posted on the DYI, I was following...I took some pictures and was looking for help as to whether I have a different headlight design or do I have the wrong bulbs? I attached some pictures of the back of the headlights and the rebar
