headlight plastic burn

headlight plastic burn
I blackout my headlights on Saturday and it turns out really good . The most scary part is put them in the oven. I didn't notice it at first but after I assembly the headlight back to the car, I saw a white spot on the headlight ( clear plastic ) due to the overheat in one location . It's really small but does anyone know how to treat it ? It pops in to my eyes whenever I see it. Pic will be taken tomorrow.

It's only left enough time like the other one but only this one got it. It's just magnified actually it's really small. I used gas oven and forgot about prevent from 2 hot sides where the heat come from ( 200 F and 10 minutes ). Anyone who wanna do it, don't be scare . Just stay out of where the heat come from , then you will be fine . Anyway, is it curable ?

As mentioned, try wet sanding, then applying PlastX.

other than a time machine and redoing the process and not letting it get to hot I dont see any options. The plastic is melted and discolored all the way thru, cant buff it out!

Even if it is uncurable, I bet the blacked out headlights with that little mark look better than they did before

Do you have any more pictures of it? If it were my car, I'd break the cardinal rule of using headlight tint. Buy some that just covers the amber reflector and/or trim the tint to cover the outside edges of the headlight. That might actually make it look really nice.
