Headlight Issues?

Hey bros I was just wanting your input on some issues I've been having with my headlight. Lately my driver's side headlight bulb has been inconsistent with working. One time I start my car up it may be on maybe a few minutes later if I restart my car it doesn't work. If I toggle with the light switch it always comes on after a few tries so I thought it was the ballast. After I had my ballast replaced the headlight still has the issue sometimes but it occurs less. Should I replace the igniter or the bulb?

How would I know if it's the bulb instead of the igniter?

Had this issue on my 04. Driver side light would sometimes turn on, sometimes not. Then it randomly started to turn off when it actually would turn on. Then the bulb would be pink instead of normal color. Diagnosing this for me was all trial and error, but was a pain because of removing the bumper. I would suggest you start with bulbs since its the cheapest option, see if it works. The bulbs got rid of the discolored bulb issue for me but not the inconsistent turning on of the headlights, this turned out to be the igniters. I just ended up replacing the whole set up.

Sounds like the igniter to me.

Thanks I'll try the igniter and see how that works out. I found one at a really good price on eBay and hopefully it all works out.

How much? I think when i got my OEM ones I got them for 50 bucks each. I think they were re-manufactured though. Good luck!

so, you rather throw parts and Money at it until its fixeD?????

what a waste.

to trouble shoot; you'll need to swap bad bulb over to other side.
if problem follows, bad bulb.

if problem doesnt follow, you'll need to switch ballast over to other side. see if problem follows

way better than throwing money and parts at it and HOPING it will solve your problem.
