Has anyone ever used thier state's Lemon Law to negotiate a buyback from Acura?

If so, could you share the experience? Were you successful, Acura cooperative, how long did it take?
I bought a 2007 Typs S 6 speed manual last September and last month, with under 7K miles on the car, the clutch went while on the highway and I got locked out of gear. Luckily I coasted to nearest off ramp and pulled over halfway up the ramp.
When the dealer took the clutch appart, the pad was in shreds. The dealer stated to me that the transmission was shot. It ended up that the car was out of use for 20 days while a new clutch and tranny were installed under warranty.
The dealer became defensive when I mentioned wanting Acura to buyback the car.
Any thoughts?

TLATL,
I know I bought my 2007 Type S on New Years Day this year from the dealership in Kansas City. It was originally purchased by a guy in St. Louis in July. It had 700 miles on it when I purchased it. He returned it in September because he DIDN'T LIKE THE PAINT JOB !!!!
I don't know how he got Acura to buy his car back for a thing like "he didn't like the paint job". But with your mechanical problem, I've got to think it can be done.

I had my 0ld Mdx replaced by acura, the battery died 4 times, and it only takes 3 for the lemon law. I sent honda the paperwork in the lemon law book that should have come with the car (owners manuals) if not, ask the dealer for one. Send those pages to honda, the state and whomever else it says to. Honda will contact you within 2 weeks with a mediator to help resolve things. In my case, they offered me an 07MDX Sport and ent, so I took that instead of loosing my mileage money.
