Gray bar at bottom of navigation screen?

Hi when I start my navigation system everything loads fine until it gets to the actual map. When it's on the map there is about a 1/2 inch gray kind of pixelated bar at the bottom that won't go away unless you move the pointer thing around or go to a menu. Whenever it's on the map and you haven't moved the pushy thing that lets the pointer move around, the gray bar will stay there even if it's night mode or day mode.

I recently did the navi hack to get a custom bitmap image and the trip computer/AC controls, and the hack has been on for a couple weeks now. The gray bar just showed up tonight after I reloaded the nav hack (I took it off to test something else and then reloaded the hack right back into it, then the gray bar showed up for the first time right after that.)

Does anyone know about this problem? I have an '04 Auto TL w/ stock navi and stock everything else except the navi hack. (The navi hack is off now and the gray bar is still there) Any help would be appreciated.

That little gray bar displays the street name on which you currently are traveling on. Park you car on the street and look at the navi, you will see the street name there.

Yea that's what it should show, but it doesn't it's just a gray bar that looks very out of place like it's all pixelated and scratchy-graphiced. The street names do not show up at all. Has anyone experienced this?

That's what mine looks like. I just recently converted my non-navi and saw that bar without a street name and thought it was a problem. But then the street name showed up.
