So I wanted to know a few things, first of being relevant to the title, can or do these two things in the title go hand in hand?

I ask because this, So I've been having a good leak at where the hose/line meets the motor where the end is clamped. Alright so that's one thing.

Today, my cel came on (felt like wheel bearings were going bad quick, it sounded like an airplane on the highway). However the CEl came on shortly and I got the code for Accelator peddle sensor (219.00 !!!!) at Autozone.


However, when I got home today, and started the car up for giggles, the CEL cleared. I drove to my driveway, still off. Only thing I did notice in which it doesn't always happen, this time, it was a sure thing it was leaking gas and you can smell it, when other times you can't.


Can someone explain this to me? should I still replace the accelator sensor? if so, is it easy to do?


And is it tuesday? cuz I sware it's monday.

Fix the fuel leak and see where that leaves you. The APP is easy to replace and should be able to be done in 15-20 minutes. Rarely will the APP leave you stranded....a fuel leak however...well...that can just do all kinds of bad stuff.

Also, is it not a possibility that the APP is acting up due to insufficient fuel flow/pressure to the engine?
