Maybe you have a leak somewhere?...check after u pump gas..drive it home and park it..look under the car see if its leaking??
when i first bought my TL ...
my first tank ran me 220 miles...i got iffy and started cleaning and changing spark plugs
my 2nd tank..ran me 270 miles...
my 3rd tank i ran 320miles... with 14.1 gallons
im currently on my 4th tank and hopefully runs better

If my math is correct that works out the about 12MPG. What does your MID say the mileage has been? I've read some people getting mileage in the mid low teens with purely city driving. Maybe you should try to change your driving style and see how much it helps.

That's about 12 and I'd say it's a little on the low side, but I'd check the mileage over the next couple of fillups to be certain. If a lot of idle time and traffic jams, it's possible as the EPA has 18/26 for the '05 and the EPA test:
The city test is approximately 11 miles long and simulates a stop and go trip with an average speed of about 20 miles per hour (mph). The trip lasts 31 minutes and has 23 stops. About 18 percent of the time is spent idling (as in waiting for traffic lights). A short freeway driving segment is included in the test. The engine is initially started after being parked overnight.

Sorry, but these fuel mileage threads get old. If you stay out of the gas, your mileage shouldn't change much at all, regardless of the turbo and injectors as the turbo would be idle and the injectors are governed by the electronics. Our RX 7 Turbo with 14lbs max (7lb factory) and larger secondary injectors doesn't change the mileage as the secondaries only come on above 3600 and then all 4 dump fuel into the chambers.
