I got my headlights blacked out a while ago, and all that remained was the ugly clear filament bulb which I thought looked good up until a few days ago. I ordered the chromed coated amber bulbs on ebay and decided to throw them recently. They work fine on signaling left and right and hazards, but they don't light up when I turn my parking lights on.

Sounds to me like you may have been sent the wrong bulbs. The 7443's are dual filament, but there is another kind just like them that are single filament. So perhaps that's your problem.

 

I have no idea lol. I was told to get these by JnC, ordered the wrong ones to begin with, returned them for exactly what JnC said and received from the vendor. I'm pretty sure they're right, but there could always be the possibility that they're not.
