Front Hub problem
2007 TL was making road noise after installing 4 new Goodyear F1 All seasons. Went back to Goodyear they stated alignment was not done right replaced 2 tires after 10K miles. Still noise from front Goodyear bites bullet gives me $800 to go back to OEM Michelins, driving home still with noise from front. Friend (mechanic) states most likely Front wheel hub problem Have 3 hr labor quote and $120 in parts. SHould I go with dealer or independent and should I replace both front hubs? Never had to do this on any previous TL and have only 60K highway miles. Not happy 2 tire dealers couldnt figure this out and ended up with $$$ in tire costs.

It is more than likely the bearings and not the hubs unless the bearings somehow damaged the hub. The bearing will have to be pressed into the knuckle. Usually if you have a bearing problems, the noise will change or shift when going into a turn. If it is the bearings you should be able to get this covered under warranty assuming you havent exceeded the mileage on your 07
