Exhaust sound got quiet.

I have a 08 TL-S 6spd. I have a Magnaflow full exhaust system with ATLP mufflers . The car used to sound great. I had a exhaust leak in the flex pipe , so i took it to the shop and they replaced it , but then for some reason the exhaust became very quiet and it is very unsatisfying to hear . It's not as loud as it used to be. What's wrong with it ??

Well a leak has been fixed. This will quiet it down significantly. Also, over time you get used to it.

Why'd you fix the leak if you liked how it sounded?

Because it had a raspy sound in the front right , which was annoying sometimes . The exhaust used to sound great before the exhaust leak . But after they replaced the Flex pipe it lost a lot of sound and was really quiet .

Go back to exhaust shop and ask them to undo what they did

Any tips or ideas on making it sound louder and better? Would Muffler/Resonator delete work ? Also does Flex pipe even affect the sound , or am i just overthinking lol.

Took it to the shop this morning , the shop is closed atm. Not sure if they will still have my old flex pipe and not sure if they would undo it.

You don't need your old one, you just take a screw driver and hammer it into the side of the flexpipe. Once broken, you should get the old broken noise back.

I want to see a manager's face after you explained to him that you liked your old leaking flex pipe better and want to have old one welded back.
