The last couple of week I noticed that when I sit idling for an extended period the interior of my car begins to smell really bad. The smell makes me think it's exhaust fumes as it practically takes your breath away so much I have to shut the car off. Or, I simply start driving and the smell goes away immediately.

Could exhaust fumes be coming through the vents? I guess if I could have an exhaust leak but I don't hear any leaks.

 

Close your vents w ac heater off and if you still smell you prob got leak in cat convertor or pipe
