Engine vibrates horrible
My wife just came home and said when she hit the brake the engine started shaking violently to the point the hood was shaking. She helped me install the xlr8 mounts so she has some knowledge of her car. I recently replaced the top tranny mount and the engine mounts have been completely replaced with the xlr8 mounts. I have the 60a's. I checked the brake vacuum hose and it looks fine, no cracks. When I installed the engine mounts I golf teed the lines and siliconed them. Gotta get this fixed quick since its the wifes car.
Also, the other day the brake light, abs light, and vss light came on. I turned it off and restarted it and it hasnt come back since. Brakes are in good shape and fluid is good.
Thanks for the help!

anyone with the xlr8 mounts have a problem like this? all my mounts are good but this vibration cannot be good. the car was warm allready when it happened and it is still doing it again today. don't know if the brakes have anything to do with it. how would i check if vacuum was a problem?

There's two questions here, is the engine causing this or are the mounts causing this?
Does the engine run and sound normal especially at idle?
Some of those mounts can deform over time.
If it's not the engine running badly (misfire), I would go back over the installation. Honestly it sounds like the engine might have shifted over and you're getting metal to metal contact somewhere.
