electrical questions
New to the acura family and website. I picked up a 06 anthracite with navi. I really enjoy driving this car! I have had a few electrical gremlins pop up recently. I have noticed the drl have not worked since i bought the car. i checked the fuse and it was good, but the fogs do work. is it possible that both filaments are bad on both bulbs? Anyone else have this problem? Also, i had an ipod adapted installed. After that i noticed the vertical lights on both sides of the navi stopped working. I took it back to the shop to have it looked at, and when i left, now the bottom row of lights do not work. They cant seem to figure it out. did something get fryed during the install? Thanks for any suggestion and fixes you may be able to help with.

do you have a canadian TL? if not, the DRL's in the USA were not an option at the factory.
For your lighting on the two columns, do the buttons work? If yes, I would check the harnesses to make sure all the wires are firmly seated in the connectors to make sure that one didn't nudge loose during the install, the same with the lower buttons.

csmeance is right, even though he's a Gator fan, DRL's were not standard in the US until 2007 when the fogs moved into the lower part of the bumper instead of the headlight housing.
I'm MECP certified and did car audio install for three years, I really think that the lights issue is what csmeance said, a bad connection. They may have pinched the wires somewhere or had some of the pins come out of the harness, bring it back to whoever installed it. Your car should leave the install bay exactly how it entered + whatever you had installed, don't take no for an answer. Good luck,
Justin
