Dust in headlight question

Was involved in an accident and they replaced the front passenger headlight with a brand new part. The other side wasn't damaged, but really looks oxidized and has a good amount of dust in it. Any ideas what i can do besides go out and buy a 400 dollar headlight? Thanks. Tried to search but couldnt come up with anything.

Is it oxidized on the inside or outside? Did you ever black out or open up your headlights??

If they are on the outside, you can wetsand them and then apply some clear film over them to protect it.

If on the inside, you will have to replace it, it still might be under warranty as it's a road hazard.
