Folks- been reading up on the garage about the infamous driveline vibration. I just started noticing it in my new (2k miles) TL, and it seems to be getting worse (or maybe it's just annoying me more).

It has the characteristic drone + floorboard "fluttering" in 5th gear @ roughly 1,500 RPMs and around 45-50mph.

The posts in the garage address mostly '04 and '05s, curious if the '07s still suffer from this (mine does obviously), and whether I should live with it (inherent design flaw of 3GL) or take it to the dealer.

It's been discussed, it's common in 04-07. Pretty annoying... You could try to take it to the dealer, but the TSB is only for the 2004. But it's worth a shot.

I have an 05 that had the same vibration. I took the 04 TSB into the dealership and they used it to make the correction. It feels 1000 times better now.

Wow that is ridiculous. Acura still can't get it right for the 07s? The 07 have the newer trannys too that is suppose to be stronger and smoother. My 06 drones and vibrates like hell now. Its not only in 5th gear anymore, it escalated.

Yes, the 07 TL also have the famous 1500-2000 RPM drivetrain vibration. I started noticing drone and vibration on my car when it had only 900 miles and now I ahve around 1600 miles. My dealer applied the 04 TSB only last week but there was no improvement rather the vibration is even more noticeable and now I get vibration thru 2200 RPM also. I get so tired and angry every time I drive the car. In comparison my 1999 Accord V6 EX was a much smoother car and was fun to drive. While I like the styling and everything else of the car but what good is it if it makes me annoyed and angry due to the vibration.

Yes, please take it to your dealer and work with them until they fix it. Please keep us posted.
