Acura TL 2005 positive battery replacement help

how do you get the green clip off . Every time I am pushing it out it doesn’t do nothing nor open if I mess with it also how do u unscrew a screw with that problem . It looks like something is stuck inside

it's one of those push clips where you pry up on the clip. and pull away

and use a 10MM (i believe, maybe 12mm) socket instead of phillips head screwdriver to remove.
