Door Lock Settings

I have an 05 Acura 3.2 TL and I am having an issue changing my door lock settings.

I want to change my settings to where I shift from park the doors lock and when I shift to park the doors unlock.

I have read the manual and tried several times and I still haven't been able to change anything.

Hey,

Make sure your remote is linked with your car (driver 1 or 2) whichever you use, or it wont work.
Then with the ignition in the on position, scroll through the MID and select "Keyless memory settings". Gear must be in Park.
Select that option, then scroll through to auto door lock and change the setting.

Sorry to be a burden. But how would I link my remote to my car?

To link, hold down the lock and unlock buttons on your remote for 2 seconds. Make sure the light on your remote lights up for a steady second. If it lights up twice quickly, hold lock and unlock again for the light to be steady.
