So after reading and researthing that the possible culprit for my mysterious battery draining was the HFL in my car I disconnected it from the center console(where the sunroof is). After putting it back the dashboard display said that Hands Free had no information. But after starting the car again it said that it Booting Up although it was disconnected. I was wondering 1) If anyone else that tried this fix had a similar problem and 2) If this means that my battery will continue to drain.
Any information could be helpful. Thanks

did you remove it or disconnect and just leave it in there? I'd remove it then unplug the car's battery by disconnecting the negative terminal for a few minutes just to reset the whole system make sur eyou have your radio code and nav security handy.

^Isn't disconnecting it essentially removing the HFL?
I think mine still shows booting up when i try to launch HFL. I will double check. It won't drain your battery if you have disconnected it as there is no more power.

Im with WDPanda on this. I have had my HFL disconnected for ages now, and it will still say "Booting up" on the MID. This should not drain your battery any longer, since it has been disconnected.......disconnected = no power,
no power= no battery drain
no power= no battery drain
