Dented Exhaust

Hi All,

I have a small problem with my car that has been bugging me a lot. I have a dent in my exhaust, is there any way that I could fix this dent, without replacing the whole exahaust?? and if I do have to replace it, how much would it cost me??

Thanks in advance

Dented from someone hitting the car from behind while parked?

no its underneath the car, there is a box shaped thing closer to the rear of the car that has about the size of a half dollar dent on it, i think a big rock must've come hit it while i was driving

are you talking about the muffler? the box shaped thing that the tips are attached to? i mean if it's the muffler that's like, barely noticeable, i wouldnt even bother.

no no ... its no the muffler, if u look underneath the car its kind of near the rear axle and i'm pretty sure its not affecting the car, but its juss pissing me off that is there, so if possible i would like to fix it, and keep the cost to max of 100 bux if i have to pay to get it fixed.

as for my username ... 37 is just my lucky number, and i love the vq motor due to the loads of low end torque, any car with that motor is such a blast to drive. so yep, that is how i came up with my username

It's the midmuffler that's dented. You know.....you could just remove it and do the stage 3 I'll give you my dynomax resonator at school since I'm replacing it later on anyways.

idk if this is a smart idea, but in design tech class, we've started to work with metal and basically any dents you pretty much pound out with a hammer. put a blick of wood in between though.

i'm probably the biggest idiot on this board right now.
