Two questions:
1.What is the easiest way to remove the words Acura and TL from the back of the car?

2.Since I have an 05 WDP TL will it leave any marks or show newer paint where the badges were?

No need to buy anything. Take a hair dryer and get the badge nice and warm. Take your fingers and pull from the top middle to the bottom. They will come off in one piece. Then continue to use the hair dryer on the glue and it will come right off. I used some wax and it was not noticable at all. I also have a 05 WDP. Get to it slappy!!!!

take a hair dryer, heat the badges up like mmade said, and use dental floss to floss them right off. then put some bug n' tar remover on the leftover glue on the trunk, heat it up for 15 seconds, and start rubbing the glue off. let the bug n' tar remover do the work, not your fingers.

after you're done there will be no trace of the badge. NEVER use your fingernail, it'll scratch the paint.

I used the same method as wasupdog. Don't use your fingers to peel off the badge you might damage the paint if the glue is not heated enough. Just heat with a blowdryer for a few minutes and when you can wiggle the letters a bit the glue is soft enough to start 'flossin'. After the badges are off, I also used bug n' tar remover to take off the rest of the glue on the paint.

Good luck!

if you see a difference in color, take some polish and polish the area, scratch-x should be good enough to clean up, if anything is there.

Flossing is the way to go! I had to do two sessions of Goo-Gone on the remaining glue after I flossed it. After the wax job, no trace of badges remained.
