dealership stumped

so my car would not start the other night.. went out for a ride to get gas, pumped the gas and when trying to start car just started clicking and all the intrument panel lights where flashing like crazy... navi was prompting me for radio code and the clock was way off on time. car has been at the dealer for two days now and they cant find the problem. each time they charge the battery fully its drained and dead in a minute. the battery tests fine though... any ideas ?

Replace the battery first, could be a dead cell. Which is why it won't fully charge, and isn't enough juice to turn the car over.

If the battery is good and it dies real fast...I'd check all main grounds. Just think, nothing in the vehicle could cause such a parasitic drain that would deplete the battery instantly. Although a short may be very noticable, I'd start there after a new battery. Their battery tester may be damaged somehow and is giving wrong readings.

Battery testers and chargers often show a false positive (and show a full charge) when the battery has a dead cell in it.

Could be a dead cell or as easy as a loose terminal on the battery.
