DEAD battery

DEAD battery

I got up to leave for work this morning and my car wouldn't start ....I just got my car a month ago it has 10k miles on it....i've read on here that people have problems with the OEM battery....looks like ill be making a trip to the dealership after work....should i go OEM or pay extra for something better??

never hurts to go aftermarket with batteries. i'd go with optima red top.

'08 I believe-If the car is a DD probably the battery, but if it sits, might want to check for a parasitic draw. After market is fine, but if going away from the factory dimensions, adaptation would possibly be needed for installation.
Just make certain you have the radio and nav codes.

not to mention the red tops are very safe since they are a dry cell battery, not a wet cell, so if you roll your car over and the battery cracks, your car wont burst into flames.

i have one in my jeep liberty and it constantly starts strong

Just go with an Interstae or DieHard and you'll be fine. Have always used both in all my vehicles without a problem.

just got back from the dealership....they replaced the battery with another one under the 100 month warranty...nothing from my pocket and only had to wait about an hour...hopefully i don't run into this again anytime soon because if i do i will opt for something aftermarket...thanks for the input
