Cracked drive belt? felt nothing

Took my acura tl to dealership for oil change. Dealer recommend to change drive belt. My car has 180,000 miles.

So i popped the hood and felt the belt by the alternator i felt no holes it just felt smooth, nothing like cracked. Do i have to bend the belt to feel the cracks?

Thanks

Did dealer service mean the accessory-drive/serpentine belt, or did the dealer mean the timing belt?

What was the specific reason the service dept. gave for the recommended change?

BTW, the accessory drive belt is usually changed along with the timing belt by most mechanics, and that usually occurs @ 105K miles (or service "4" for the 3G+ TL).
