need I point out that a low bottle level needs to be checked further by looking in the radiator, and having a shop check and find the leak

i wouldnt be that alarmed yet...add some coolant and keep an eye on it...obvious signs of leakage would have been detected by puddles under the car in the driveway, garage floor...

not always- pressure in the system when running will push fluid out.
Most people notice puddles under the car because the system is still pressurized after a drive and drip drip drip, if it does that parked imagine what its doing on the road!

There are cold and hot full marks on the res bottle- it should not lose any fluid!

But thats just decades as a tech speaking my personal opinion

well, I noticed that the reserve tank fluid dropped after my CAI was installed so maybe thats what caused the low levels. I also dont notice any fluids on my driveway.

did you check all of the hoses near the TB? you installed and tightened the clamp onto the hose right? I ahd the same problem, i did not find any leakage on the floor...once i took off my intake, i saw a LOT of coolant on my transmission...obviously it had leaked through those hoses since they expand when it is exposed to that much amount of heat....just my exp

Do you mean what brand of coolant, what mixture of coolant, or what type of coolant (i.e. organic, synthetic)?

OMG- there is organic coolant now? Man--- I need to spend more time reading labels of bottles at the parts store!

Most here will say use the Honda premix so it the exact same stuff as in the car now.

nick- if you find a low coolant bottle- doesnt that trigger an impulse to run a pressure test on the system and find out why/where the problem is?

use honda type 2 coolant. u can buy it an any honda/acura dealer but not at like wal-mart. when u check the coolant, the proper way to do it is to see what level the tank is at 30-60 seconds after u shut off the car. then fill it up based on that level.
