Condensation Driver's Side Mirror *How to Fix*

I noticed I have some condensation in my Driver's Side Mirror *On the Turn Signal Lens Inside* . I had the lens replaced by Acura awhile back cuz a rock hit it and cracked. What's the easiest way to open up the housing to clean the lens on the inside? Thanks!! I am guessing there is a thread out here but couldn't find it!

you cant really fix it if its cracked. i mean you can always put some silicone or some kind of sealant to cover up the crack as you would for a headlight. but that wont look clean. just get a clean turn signal...its only like $30.

If you can pop the mirror/glass off and remove the actuator/motor there may be a couple screws holding it in. If its sold by itself then it can be done. The glass has tabs on the inside and the motor is held by torx screws.

Thanks guys..the Lens is NOT CRACKED. Where the mirror opens up there is a small gap from when they fixed it the first time. I just need to get it apart to clean the lens from the inside and then seal the seam with some clear silicone so it doesn't get condensation in it. It probably happened when I was washing it and sprayed water into it!

the seal isnt supposed to come apart by itself...anyways if you wanna open it up, do it the same way as opening a headlight, use a heatgun on the seal then pry it out. if you dont want to do that, just dump the water out, dry what you can, then seal it back up and hopefully no moisture gets in
