Cold morning, when turning wheels, making whining noise
Hey guys.
So for the past couple of months or so, in the morning when I first start my car, there is a whining noise in the engine bay. When I turn my wheels, the noise gets greater, but as I drive more, it goes away. So I looked it up and thought it was the axle or suspension. I was about to take it to the shop to get it looked at until a few days ago, one of my coolant tubes burst and radiator fluid was leaking everywhere.
I took it to the shop to get that fixed first since my engine was about to overheat. After the fix... the problem with the whining noise went away. I am still going to take it into the shop for that, but I have no idea why that problem went away. Could leaks in the tube cause such a noise?

Textbook power steering pump issue... either low fluid or leaking or your pump needs to be rebuilt.
