Clutch possibly good now but steering wheel w/o power!
07 TL-S 6SM
I'm back again. Thanks everyone for the advice on the rough shifting after the clutch change! My father put the GM FM fluid in and now he says it's shifting smooth. He believes there may have been some air in the lines that worked out...idk. Anyway, a friend went down to where my car is and he says it goes into gear nicely, but its really loud just moving between the gears when the cars off (ex. 1st to 2nd to 3rd = "CLICK-CLICK, CLICK-CLICK"). I can't remember how loud it was just moving the stick around between gears. Does this sound normal to you guys?
In addition, I discovered that that when they did the clutch change that they let the rack fall out of the steering column which is why they were messing with the steering wheel (trying to realign it). Consequently, I have no power to the wheel and the airbag light is on. They are going to mess with it tomorrow. Any ideas on the loss of power? Could it be as easy as a blown fuse (PLEASE)?
P.S. Anyone know anyone w/ a sick gray TL-S, in Washington Heights, NYC. The thing looks sick!

Well, you might want to check your horn and steering wheel controls. The cable reel might have been damaged when the separated the steering column from the rest of the car. When they put the lower cradle/subframe back on the car, its possible a p/s line got pinched too. I'd take it to Acura to be sure.

Had it looked at today and they couldn't find anything obvious. Thanks for the advice. If a problem can't be found soon I'm going to take it to Acura.

Problem solved - guy said it's a broken clock spring. He described it as being similar to a tape measure. As the wheel is turned the wires are allowed to pull out. If the steering wheel position is changed then the clock spring may not be able to go as far in one direction allowing it to break. Having it fixed this week. Hope it doesn't cost too much lol.
