Oil leak

My son has a 2006 TL, he has it for about 8-9 months. It came from a friend who is a part time mechanic and had done some top end engine work done.

Anyhow it has an oil leak that seems a bit worse. I cleaned the underside of the car to try to find the source.

I see the oil dripping from the oil pan drain plug, and was hoping just a loose bolt or bad gasket. It seems that is just the low point. It seems to be coming up higher. I have attempted to point this out in the video link shown.

Then another leak on the other side, looks like a leak perhaps at the seam. See video link.

The car also had an overheat issue, that in another thread.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

Will have to check when I get home from travel tomorrow.
the guy I bought it from had the head gasket removed and resurfaced, and I assumed ( ouch) this would have been addressed

Had the same problem and noticed it went all the way to the oil drain plug. Traced it to the pcv valve leaking through the gasket. Replaced the pcv valve below the oil dipstick and problem has been resolved since.

Had the same issue exactly as what you have on your videos last year. Found out it was the gasket on the oil pump, a very time consuming job. Had it replaced and never seen that oil leak returned.
