after reading up on this on the forum and realizing my clutch pedal was doing the same thing, i printed the TSB for the clutch pedal (11-004 from March 31, 2011) and got it replaced for free yesterday from the acura dealership. this would have cost $250 for parts and labor but the TSB got it done for free...thank you acurazine!!

one question i have though, my brake pedal now intermittently vibrates and makes some sound. i took it back to the dealer and the tech said this is normal since he was moving some things down around there and has experienced this before. he said it should go away soon. anyone else have this problem after the TSB and how long did it take before it goes away?

How long before noise will come back?
And re-greasing will be required.

Thanks for the tip.

Weather is commonly a large factor in this but for a generalized statement, I have only had to do this simple procedure a few times in the 7 1/2 years I have owned my '04 TL. Others may have had to do it more often. If it tends to happen frequently it very well may be symptomatic of something else.
