Chalky Black Front Dash Area

Has anyone experienced a chalky appearance to their black front dash area? With 15,000 mile on this garaged vehicle it seems as though the dash area is starting to deteriorate. The area of the passenger side rectangular airbag in the dash is clearly outlined as well. Anyone having similar problems or has had it addressed by the dealer?

Yes, we all have it probably. I use the Mequiars stuff as well. It leaves it a deep black look and not shiny like cheap Armor All which blinds you when driving and the sun is beaming on the dash, ha.

I found out a few week ago from my dealership that the "ACURA SPRAY CLEANER AND POLISH" is illegal to sell in California.

I have actually had great success with armoral leather cleaner/conditioner gel. It doesn't make it shiney and its been on there for about 6 months and still looks good.

This problem can occur all of a sudden. I had been putting stuff on the dash every time I cleaned the inside of my car, then at about 10 months the dash fade happened out of nowhere.
