Sorry to hear that.

It's probably a good idea to stop driving. Right now, most of the bottom end is likely still good. If the piston comes apart completely, the block, at least one rod, and possibly the crank will be ruined. It can also take out a head. If you drive it, take a fire extinguisher with you. I've seen about half the cars that throw a rod catch on fire when the oil hits the exhaust.

fixed.... needed to fix my valve lash. mechanic said someone tried doing it and did a shitty job. besides setting the correct valve lash, cleaned everything else while he was there and checked everything else. All is GOOD! engine feels good. last night i was sitting at a light and couldn't tell the car was even on! i let go off the clutch while on third and without pushing the gas pedal, the car felt like it was accelerating on its own. everyting feels strong. got a code of p0401 today but thats nothing compared to p0300,p0301-306 and having my engine shaking.

That's a rare piece of good news. Glad it was an easy fix.

crank sensor????

anyone on here would know why i would be getting a crank sensor pop up on my check engline when i just swapped motors.. and the new one runs beautiful but yet the check engine light is on? what could be the cause of this?

wow.. thread revival. Post a new thread in Problems & Fixes. My guess is damaged sensor or sensor not properly installed. If the sensors fine then you should get it checked out asap.

InFaMouSLink and team,

I have a similar problem to what you had experienced InfamousLINK. Hoping you would lead me on the right path. I have a sluggish ride with motor seeming to die out and stalling out at times. I removed the oil cap to see if smoke is visible, but no sign of smoke found anywhere. As well no sign of oil has been "burned or wasted" (counted on oil changes).
Spark plugs and Coils have been replaced and are brand new.
Compressions on cylinder 4 are “O” (as I was told by mechanic) and others have a lower compression count then specs. I drive this car with respect at all time and take care of it.

PLEASE HELPPPP!!!!!!!! Mechanics are raping me..

bent valves. here read my other thread.

https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-performance-parts-modifications-112/omg-piston-valve-contact-issues-w-pics-752015/

i had bent exhaust valves, contact on all pistons, valve lash came loose after 2 valve jobs done.
