Car idles and slow at accleration

Car idles and slow at accleration

Quick question hopefully someone knows what I can do but my car idles when i am accelerating when I stop and than go and my light on the gear drive flashes and at times it doesn't...very confusing! Wondering if anyone has the same problem or what it maybe??

Your post is a tad confusing...it appears to be missing punctuation so not exactly clear on when things are happening. Not sure how it can idle when accelerating? Can you clarify a bit more please?

Are you saying the engine stays at idle speed when you press the pedal? Like it's not shifting/catching a gear?
