I think that's pretty low mileage to have valve lash out of spec, but that is a lot of heat cycles in 7-8yrs.
Plugs should take a fair amount of pull to get loose.

Most of the valve train wear happens very early on in the engine's life especially on the intake side. Exhaust more or less continues at a somewhat consistent rate but also has more wear early on. You could likely adjust the valves at 10,000 miles and go 200k before the next adjustment.

i agree, and also how accurate are these apps anyhow.

if i didnt have this problem, a supercharger would be in there long time ago.

Im thinking to do the valve adjustment. I do most of the stuff myself but never done that before. I can really take my time with it because the car is not a daily driver... but i dont wanna mess up anything either. I wonder how much a shop would charge to do it ....

There is a guy on here named GUS.. (04WDPSeDaN) who lives very close to me, I know he did the valve job on his car by himself and he is also an acura tech. I would really like him to do it on the side but i cant get a hold of him.

As an amateur mechanic I've probably done 6 vale adjustments (in the past 12 years). Only the last 2 did I feel 100% confident with my work. lol A major contributing factor was buying a Craftsman 26 leaf angled feeler gauge. Worth every penny.

Agreed. We have one solid cam GN (the quicker of the 3) and even on a car I'm incredibly comfortable with I not only do the adjustments and triple check but I crank the engine with the valve covers off and check everything one more time.
