Camel Leather Stained

Camel Leather Stained
I have an 05 TL with the camel color leather. My drivers seat is stained from wearing jeans (I think) I can not seem to find anything to clean the leather that works causing me to regret the light color even though I love the interior color. Any ideas to try??????????

There is another thread similar to this here...

I guess you are not the first! Sorry you are having this problem. I think it may be a result of some specific brands of fashion type jeans that use high pigment/dye concentrations in their jeans? Just my guess...I wear Levi's all the time (never new right out off the hanger....prewashed at least once?) and have never had this issue. I would be curious what brand of jeans is causing this and if there is a common thread here?

I wear Dark Blue Dockers Slacks and the Blue transfers to the seats as well, I use Lexol Leather Cleaner and Conditioner at least once a month to keep them clean, I use old diaper material to wipe on and off and when I'm done the rag is blue.

Most autoparts stores carry it, Walmart has it and any place that sells detailing supplies should carry it.
Here's where I order from.

I just took delivery of my TL this week, and I already noticed stains on my camel seats. I'm pretty sure they came from blue denim jeans, and they were most noticeable on the left side of the seat, where I enter and exit the car. I talked to a guy at a detail shop I trust, and he recommended a product called Extra Foamy, bu Hi-Tech Industries.
Now, keep in mind that I'm a minimalist when it comes to interiors. I don't like anything messing with the feel of leather, anything that leaves a gunk or residue, makes things too shiny, has an odor, etc. Well, the guy demo'd it for me and it wiped away the stains instantly. I was impressed and bought a can of it.
I don't know if it will work for your stains. Obviously, mine were still pretty fresh as I've only had the car a few days. But it was so effective that I thought I'd pass it along. Good luck.

I'll try anything
I took the car to the dealership 3 times and have been told that the Acura Regioal Rep. will have to look at it and that they will call me when he is there. Well three months and no call. I ready to trade the car in. Everytime I get in the car it makes me think Im driving 10 year old car not a new '05.

I had a similar problem with an annoying stain on my driver's seat (from my belt or jeans - not sure which) which I tried unsuccessfully to remove with everything from Lexol to just plain old soap and water. Nothing would remove the stain.
What did happen several weeks after was a hole wore completely through the leather in the seat back (about the size of a dime) in exact spot where I had cleaned. My theory is that the combination of cleaners (Lexol was the last one I tried) damaged the leather, and the friction over the next couple of weeks caused the premature wear.
I was lucky in that Acura of Pleasanton agreed to replace my seat back at no charge.

Seat Problems
I have white leather furniture that is constantly being stained by my bluejeans. She uses a bar of white ivory soap and a rag and it comes right off. Have not tried it on auto seats but might be worth a try.
