Caliper Dead on 6mt Brembos ??
My car is at the dealer for routine check, oil change + front rotors/pads(brembos) change.
My advisor called me seconds ago and told me that one of the 4 pistons inside the caliper stay stuck. I need change the ole caliper, since I change one, we also need to change the other one.
495$CDN for one NEW caliper, so I'll have a nice 1000$+ bill when I go back to my dealer.
In a positive way, I won't have to worry about my brakes for a while!!
Was wondering if one of you guys had that problem with your Brembos???
Is this a common problem with the brembos?
I got a 2004 Dynamic 6sp with 175000Km which is 109,000miles.

First, all caliper pistons are rebuildable. knock out the piston, clean it up and install a new seal when it is replaced. there is just a small kit with seals that get changed on every caliper i have rebuilt. why have they not offered to do that? second, why would you replace the other one? if there is nothing wrong with the other one, leave it alone. you do not need matching pairs.
