A/C not working for 2007
Hey everyone, so I am in a pending purchase for an 07 Type-S.. Pending because after my second observation- the owner mentioned that the a/c no longer blows cold-not working for the past few months. He doesnt know exactly what the issue is.
So from my observation it seems like a hose from the AC system was leaking (there was a hissing sound) and it also sounded like the clutch on the air compressor didn't engage.
Any feedback from anyone here would be great!

If the R134A has leaked out of the system, or it's otherwise low then the clutch won't engage.
When the system leaks, it's usually at one of the ports where you'd fill it.
If the problem is a leak, then you'll need to replace the valve core in those fill ports before you attempt to refill the system. Autozone or Advance will have replacement valve cores: See here
You will also need to buy a tool to extract the old ones.
If the leak is elsewhere, then you'll have some hunting to do.
It's not hard to refill the system. Just rent a vacuum pump and a manifold gauge set from one of those parts stores, and buy a couple of cans of R134a.
I suggest pure R134a and not something that also contains sealants or other junk.
Instructions to do it can be viewed here:

Thank you so much! I will have to check on that after the deal is made. Ive been following chris fix its channel for awhile and definitely forgot that he made that video, his content has always been helpful.
