Driving one night then all of sudden I hear a pop noise, now my Fan switch is blowing @ High speed & I can't turn it off, Buttons on display works fine, also a/c not working the next day. I also notice that my 2 fans on the radiator is also not spinning, I hope this is not two different problem going on. Did some research so I unplug the (Blower Resister Motor) which looks burnt out. I don't have a Acura Dealer where I live so I order the part which I hope it is, is OK to drive with it unplug or should I leave it on with fan blowing high speed! Plz help

HVAC fan could be a few things. I know if I don't have all my displays disconnected, the fan runs uncontrollably. When you say buttons work fine, does that mean the display changes when you turn the fan up and/or down?

The engine fans are thermostatically controlled and don't just run all the time and are independent of the HVAC.

Yes I can control the display like if want the fan blowing on ground or half ground half defrost etc. But I can't control the speed..btw thx 4 ur input got da part n it is the blower resister motor, if any1 has this problem if it's not the fuse this should be check next. Part was $85 with shipping. N it's located under the glove box, u don't have to yank da glove just yank the bottom piece below it n look at ur fan blower n follow the wire, there should be 2 screws & that is the piece really EZ dealer chrage abt $150-200 any1 could do it g/l whoever has this problem!
