Buzzing sound car won't start immediately

My car will not start immediately and will make a buzzing sound from the fuse box area. I have to keep turning the key for a minute then it will start. So far I have replaced my battery, starter, and the fuel relay. Anyone know what the problem is?

I think this relay is the likely culprit causing the sounds in the red box since it vibrates the most during the buzz. I went to the local Honda dealer since they sell the part cheaper than the Acura dealer (luckily they refunded me for the blue fuel relay) As soon as I replaced it the car started up fine however, after a couple restarts the problem would come up again and my guess is that the other relays which are the same part number (39794-sda-a03) are going bad. Keep in mind the one in the red box is the newer once which I scratched with my pliers.

If someone can share about what this relay and it's function that would help out a lot! At my local Honda dealer I paid $8.xx pretty cheap for a single one but if I have to buy 3 more then I need some solid info about the part.

After a close examination of the pic below the relay it look like it says ST OUT or CUT, probably something to do with the starter?

Its on the driver side next to your left foot. I had to rip out the panel to expose the relays.

you can probably use a multimeter to test the relay - i don't know which pins to test across sorry.

I was having a buzzing sound too, it would happen when I would have my key just before the On position. I took it in and had the ignition replaced. That fixed my issue and it starts up great now.

Mine does the same thing maybe once every 2 months or so and it never fails to start. It would be nice to find the problem before it gets bigger.

I forgot to add that the sound is most definitely a relay that's struggling to make contact.

Okay got an update for yall. The problem for me is the ignition switch which needs to be replaced. The buzzing sound from the relay is perfectly normal unless your TL is an '05 which has a TSB on that matter. To replace the switch with parts and labor is $233, I'm just going to let Acura fix it since I don't want to mess around with that stuff.

The biggest rape they trying to charge me is $330 to replace front brake pads + resurface rotor and $593 to replace front and side motor mounts. Then $233 for the power steering seals, how much do you guys think it will cost to replace the P/S seals at a local shop?

If it's the common PS seal that makes it whine, it costs about $1 and takes 2 minutes of your time.

The relay buzzing is absolutely not normal. They're probably replacing the relay and charging for the ignition switch.

Brake pads are around $30 and you can do it yourself in an hour easily. How many miles are on your car? I upgraded to a BBK around 90,000 miles and my front and rear pads looked like new still. Don't let them surface your rotors. It's not necessary when swapping pads unless they're warped and in that case you're better off getting new ones.

My PS used to whine but went away after I topped it off with some fluid. My car has 129,000 miles.

Brakes: Buy from vendor on Azine....BBK (big brake kit) is more expensive and getting pads + rotors is cheaper...you can install brakes in an afternoon or if your uncomfy I would take it to a shop and get it done for 150-200 tops....
Relay: Not normal....i hope that buzz doesnt come again from my car....i would be pissed LOL

I got the Racingbrake Slotted ones from HeelToe with the 500 something pads. They stop significantly sooner than whatever crap Honda ones were on their originally....
