Bumper Ding
Mods, please move to Wash & Wax section, if appropriate. I did not know which area to post.
Guys, I picked up a helluva ding on my front bumper. I do a lot of Interstate driving and presume it was a high speed impact.
Can anyone provide some insight as to removing/repairing this?
Thanks.

My first advice would be to alway include a ruler or object of known proportions (like a quarter) in your photo so that viewers can grasp the size of your ding (I didn't intend for that to sound like porn).
I have a "dent" in my rear bumper cover. There isn't even any paint damage to mine. But, I've been told that I need a new bumper cover ($250 plus paint $250). It doesn't bother me $500 worth. :shakehead
I've also been told that many dents can be worked out with a heat gun by those who know what they are doing. I am not one of those people.
My car is Nighthawk Black Pearl, a particularly difficult color to match. I don't think yours is that hard.
Where on the bumper is it? In my case, I can get the A-Spec rear bumper trim piece which is already painted and attaches to the OE rear bumpercover and covers my dent. That cuts the cost down to about $200. For $200, I'll think about it. Perhaps something like that exists for the front.

Thanks for the responses.
The pic above is taken on the front bumper just below the silver grille trim. The ding can be almost covered by a quarter.
I have another ding on my rear bumper which can be covered by the rear A-Spec lip, when I can get one. This front one is too high to be covered.
