Breaks Squealing after change. What do you think?
I changed out the front brake pads on my '05 Base AT TL about 6k miles ago and they have been making an audible squeal right before I stop. They have done it in a similar fashion since I changed them. I waited to make sure it wasn't just some grit or imperfection on the pad. I got Wagner Thermoquiet ceramics. Now, I know they aren't stock or the championed Duralast CMAX gold, but I know that properly installed pads shouldn't squeal. Its Wagner, not generic crap. That leads to me to thinking it was my installation.
Took everything off with care and cleaned off the parts okay with break fluid cleaner. I greased the new shims and put them back in. I had flushed the lines previously. I think I didn't re-grease the shins well enough. I used some Bio shit grease that was on sale at Lowes. I'm just going to redo the break job with some better grease, clean them better, reinstall them properly, and bleed the brakes.
Anything else that you can think of?

Honestly, I can't remember. I remember doing ABS stops after bleeding my brakes, but I don't remember when I did the pads. What is the process you go through with our TL's to bed?

I would have done rotors too, not just a pad slap.
