i got my TL about a year ago and I didnt really pay attention to the break in suggestions like I redline it a few times I havent had any problems so far and the car still runs great do you think this will have hurt my car in the long run?

The actual break-in period specified in the owner's manual is only 600 miles, so you shouldn't have any problems concerning break-in unless you revved the heck out of the engine and slammed on the brakes repeatedly during that first 600 miles period.

In other words, don't worry about it. These care are very forgiving of minor deviations from the rules.
