Brake calpiers covered under warranty?

I just purchased an 05 Tl CPO about four months ago, I was having some brake squeel a day or so ago, so ok lets get new pads I did, but today driving around I smelled burning and immediately got to a shop which happened to be precision tune, they told me that my caliper was not releasing and causing my rear brake pads to constantly stay pressed against my rotor!, in all of your experience is this an issue I can present to Acura as a warranty issue?, I know the brake pads and rotors are "wear" items but rotors, how in 4 months of driving "not crazy by the way" could cause an issue with my calipers!, what do you guys think?

Should be covered under warranty, a caliper isn't a wear & tear item.

Calipers are not wear and tear so if you are covered under warranty you should be able to get them replaced.
