Bcm?
my air conditioning, blinkers, dash display all went out on my way home from work. I spoke to a friend and he metioned that it could be the bcm but had no idea where it was. Can anyone help me with the location and if it is something that can be fixed without paying an arm and leg thanks tiffany

Start by checking the fuses first-- the instrument panel and the signals are on the same circuit, I believe. There are two fuse boxes-- one under the dash to the left of the steering wheel and one in the engine compartment. There are listings/diagrams on the fuse box covers specifying which circuit each fuse controls. The owner's manual has them as well, IIRC.
The best way to see if a fuse is bad is to pull it out and examine it, rather than looking at it while installed; there should be a small plastic-tong fuse puller in the under-dash fuse box along with a couple of extra fuses, IIRC.
The "bcm" your friend referred to is probably the PCM (powertrain control module) or ECU (electronic control unit) in the TL. It's in the back of the radio/climate control console, but problems with the PCM usually affect the driveability of the car-- any problems with the engine operation?
G/L, and welcome to AZ.

Underhood fuse box. Its the one marked "INT LIGHT", IIRC.
The underhood fusebox comes complete with a fuse puller and extra fuses. I think it's the 10A (red) fuse. Be sure to replace the spare as soon as you can.

This is the fuse I was talking about in my earlier post. It is called "Small Light" and is 10A.
I suggest you replace it, whether it appears blown or not. These mini-fuses are difficult to tell if blown or not.
Note that the fuses to the bottom right of the box are spares. There are others located throughout the box. The legend on the box lid shows where they are located specifically.
