The blue fluid is Honda coolant. As for the lights acting funny...no idea. Bad battery? Only thing I could think of since your car was just idling for 20 minutes and the alternator wasn't really recharging it. Have you driven the car since?

OT- question. Can you post pics of your car? I'm interested in seeing the color.

Your car overheated. Acura/Honda uses a BLUE extended life coolant in their vehicles. When the coolant is Green it's due for a coolant service. There could be a few things going on with your car.
Did you hear the cooling fans kick on before the overheating?-You may have a bad relay or blow fuse for the fans, or have bad fans
Next time you get your vehicle warmed up touch your coolant hoses are they both hot or one is hot the other is cold?-You may have a bad thermostat. Usually the return hose from the engine to the radiator will stay cool as the upper hose would stay hot. Thermostat suck won't allow proper flow thus improper cooling = overheating.
Did you notice any other location where coolant may leak from other than your coolant reservoir bottle?-Strong indication if coolant is leaking from the radiator that your radiator needs replacing and is packed with corrosion. Coolant service is also adviced with this type of repair. Honda/Acura coolant is 6 yr, 105k.
