Bad odor coming from exhaust***HELP***

Hey Guys,
Everytime I get on my car I start to smell an odor of bad eggs, I went to the dealer and they said that its the gas I put in, So I have been trying differnet gas stations and keep getting the same smell. After a month of testing gases I go back to the dealer and insist its my catalyic converter causing the smell and they say no...Any suggestions guys???

Tried a different dealer? Some are more helpful than others.

Its the catalyic converter, since your is new you will smell that rotten egg smell. When I first got my car I would only notice the bad odor when I floored my car. Now having 24 thousand miles it happens once in a while now. I think people on the forum use to say it was normal, but as your car gets more miles you wont experience it as often.

Difinitely normal! It happens with most all cars on the road that have catalytic converters.

It's the sulfur in the gas combined with a cold catalytic converter. Try a different gas station and see if that helps. It could also be that with the issus in the Gulf that many of the local regulatory requirements for gasoline formulations have been lifted so you may be getting as with more sulfur than normal.

It's normal, not hurting anything.
