Auto Window doesn't work? How to fix???
I have a 2004 Acura TL and my battery died last night. I tried jumping the car but after the car starts, the driver's window doesn't have the auto window function (where you press it once a bit hard and it goes all the way down/up). now I have to hold on to the button to get it all the way down or up. Any solutions guys?

In your owner's manual, it will tell you to:
1) Start the engine. Push down and hold the front window switch until the window is fully open.
2) Pull and hold the front window switch to close the window completely, then hold the switch for a second or two more.
If the power windows do not operate properly after resetting, have your vehicle checked by your dealer.

The auto window feature uses a module that measures the electrical load to shut off power to the window. When you reach the end of your travel, it senses the extra load placed on the motor trying to override the stop. You have to teach the module that load...and it's lost when the battery is disconnected. This is also what is used to stop travel when the window hits an obstruction.
