Auto ON/OFF headlight issue
Hi guys-
I have not been able to figure out the AUTO on/off feature of the headlights. If I leave the switch in the "AUTO" position, the lights never stay on past the point of removing the key. I have the setting at 30 secs for auto off yet it doesn't work? I also don't see the lights come on when unlocking the vehicle at night? How exactly does this feature work as Im not understanding I guess.
Please help!
Thanks!

If you leave the headlights on when exiting the vehicle, they should stay on if the key is in the ignition or not. They should stay on for the 30 seconds until you lock the car and hear it beep using your keyless. Then when you hit the unlock button on your keyless, the car should unlock and your headlights should come on. Also if you leave your car unlocked when you exit the vehicle, as soon as you open your driver door the lights should turn back on. Note this is only if you leave your lights on.

AUTO on/off headlights
What you described is what I have read...but for some reason mine do not act in that manner. I know Ive set the auto off delay to like 30 secs....left the wand in the "AUTO" mode yet as soon as the ignition is turned off and the key is removed, the lights are instantly out.
Has anyone else had this kind of problem? I love the feature and hows its described to work both exiting and re-entering the vehicle but geez why wouldn't it work right?
Any insight into this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks guys!
