Anyone out of warranty yet AND have problems?
Just curious, but is anyone out of warranty yet (by miles, not length of time) and have problems that they needed to get fixed? I'm wondering if any of the dealers goodwill certain things over others...
I've been as unlucky (or lucky) as many others in this forum in terms of having so many issues that the dealer has graciously fixed on my behalf since I'm still under warranty. But with all those problems I can't help but think come 50,001 miles something else will go wrong and I'll have to pony up some big bucks to get it resolved.
Thoughts?

Just guessing here. I think it should be about paid for as you approach 50k. The repair cost should be more bearable w/o a car note.
We just pay for repairs until we get sick of it then buy a new car and start again. The alternative is to get a good extended warranty and/or do your own repairs. I'm hoping to see 200k+-miles in mine over the next 10-15 years or so. Just my $.02.
